Clary notices a strange boy following a girl into a room with two boys following. The boy gets killed by Jace. Jace and CLary head back to her apartment after receiving a weird call from her mom. they are attacked by a forsaken. They then go to an Institute, where brother Jeremiah tells calry that there is a block in her mind pit there by someone called Magnus Bane. Clary then finds out that she can draw things on paper and then pull them out of the paper, and she claims to know where the Mortal Cup was.
however someone wants the mortal cup too and and they get into a battle.
