High Fidelity

Ok this book is not a typical teenage girl vampire book, this is an adult book that i dont Recommened to people our age ... except you Mr.. Pollicutt. Also this book has some ... inappropriate parts (sexual) than not Recommened for young people. (I Skipped those parts)

I found this book in the summer and it was an old book of my dads, the author is Nick Hornby and I've read another book of his called Slam before and i thought this book would be just as good but apparently i was wrong.

This book has no plot, not kidding. Its a first person account by a 36 year old man called Rob who just got dumped by this girlfriend and she has run off with his next door neighbor. Rob has some serious issues, his girlfriend is called Laura in the past and he got her pregnant and she had an abortion, he cheated on her with a one night stand, also after they broke up he called and he stalked her and waited outside the house, he is messed up. He owns a record store called Championship Vinyl and has two staff and does not earn a lot of money. Laura is a successful lawyer and earns a huge sum of money.

At the start of the book he's his list top five worst break ups and he mentions them throughout the book. In the middle of the book Laura's dad dies and the funeral at the funeral Laura and Rob ditch togther and Umm ... So they get back togther till the end of the book. I have no idea why they get back togther but she says she is tired of being away for him? (I dont get adults!)

The end is really bad, it ends in club and he is the DJ and he puts a song on and she gives him the thumbs up and then it says "Tonight, for the first time ever, I can sort of see how it's done" ??????

Oh well it was an experience that i dont want to repeat!
Apparently they made a movie of it!
