“The time traveler’s wife” - Audrey Niffenegger

This novel is both science fiction and romance. It is about a man named Henry who involuntarily travels through time; every time he does, he wakes up in a different place and time, being naked and extremely hungry. Henry then starts to steal food and clothes from people surrounding to survive. While following his bizarre journey, he from time to time sees his future wife, Clare, since she was six… This involves lots of philosophical questions about meaning of love and purpose of life. Their love is in the centre, evolving by issues of friendships, family tensions and jobs.

It is pretty interesting to keep track of how Henry and Clare manage to sympathise towards each other and together overcome the obstacles… Sometimes, I got the feeling like their relationship is beyond the remedy however, there would be something miraculously happens which pulls them back together.

I suggest that we’d better watch the movie before reading this novel since it would be easier to follow the *unique* structure (it jumps from past to future then back to present and so on!!!) RATING: 5/5 :)
