This book is not a Twlight book but it is a teenage girl book, sorry Mr Pollicutt!
This book has five main characters that are all girls in junior high (12 year) and they all have big secrets! One of the girl went missing in Freshmen year (year 10) and has never been found, her name was Alison. The ironic thing is that Alison knows all of their secrets! Alison is an extremley popular pretty girl who made the other four girls. So let me introduce you to the four girls and their secrets:
-Spencer covets her sister's boyfriend.
Aria-Dating her Vietnamese teacher.
Emily-Crushing on the new girl at school.
Hanna-Using some ugly tricks to stay beautiful.
Two years after Alison went missing, all the girls have grown apart. Spencer is a smart girl who hangs out by herself. Aria moved to Poland but has returned to find all the girls apart. Emily focuses on her swimming and has an athletic boyfriend. Hanna used to be fat, but is now the prettiest girl in school with the most gorgeous guy in school.
Recently they have all been getting weird text messages that says they know there secrets, and all the girls are worried. These text messages are from someone called "A", they all assume its Alison but are not sure. They have grown apart since they have know idea they are getting all the messages.
In the end of the book all there secrets have gone very badly! Spencer has been caught by sister with the boyfriend and Spencer and keep him hanging out secretly. Vietnamese Aria and the teacher, Ezra have broken up because of the text message "A" sent! Emily and the girl, Maya were caught kissing by Emily's boyfriend. Hanna got dumped by her boyfriend because he wants to be a virgin and she does not. Then right at the end they find Alisons body and have a funeral, then at the funeral they all get a text message saying "I'm still here b ** ches. And I know everything-A"
I enjoyed this book and it's something more realistic than Twilight!
